Installing the Octopus Deploy Server
In this exercise, you'll be installing the central Octopus Deploy Server on your laptop.

1.1 Download
Go to the Octopus Deploy download page and download either the 32-bit or the 64-bit installer for the Octopus Server.

1.2 Run the installer
Follow the installation wizard, referring to the links in the information box if needed. When asked for a license, select a trial license. The license will be sent to the email you specify.

1.3 Backup your Octopus Master Key
Browse to your Octopus Deploy Server, and navigate to "Configuration" in the main menu. Follow the instructions on how to backup your Octopus Master Key, and click the "OK, I've backed it up, stop reminding me" button when you've stored it in a safe place.
